I am sure you must have heard a lot about the brand Mother Sparsh. They are one of the best Indian Brands to offer innovative plant-based and eco-friendly baby care products. I have recently started using it for Nemit since his skin has become sensitive in this weather. Himalaya gentle baby wash was the first product we have used for Nemit and it suited him well too. It is infused with the goodness of chickpea, fenugreek, and green gram which are known for keeping the baby’s delicate skin soft and moisturized.
Though the Himalaya baby wash consists of herbal actives and is free from parabens and SLS, they don’t mention it clearly if it’s ideal for babies with sensitive skin. Hence, I would suggest doing a patch test before trying this product on sensitive skin.

Mamaearth became one of the most popular brands in India with its aggressive marketing strategy. They are Asia’s 1st brand with Made Safe Certified Products which means their products are made with safe ingredients.

Mamaearth’s deeply nourishing body wash for babies contains aloe vera extract and allantoin which help soothe the baby’s body. It comes with the goodness of coconut-based cleansers and jojoba oil which help nourish and moisturize the skin. And, it is safe for sensitive skin as it doesn’t contain any harmful chemicals or artificial fragrances.

4 – The Moms Co. Baby Wash for Sensitive Skin
The Moms Co. is another brand that is favourite of mothers mainly because of their pregnancy care products. Even their baby care products have gained popularity recently. The Moms Co.’s natural baby wash, as the name suggests, is made with 100% natural ingredients. Such as organic chamomile oil and calendula oil which reduces inflammation and soothes skin.

It is also Made Safe Certified, free from toxins and harmful chemicals, and dermatologically approved safe for sensitive skin. I used their baby wash for Nemit in winters when his skin used to get extremely dry and rough. It worked really well in keeping his skin moisturized for a long time even without using a cream or lotion.

Biotique is another Indian brand that has Ayurvedic baby & kid’s products with 100% botanicals. But their products are not as popular as other Indian brands. I feel it’s mainly due to the lesser number of options in their baby care range.
All their products are made of organically pure, preservative-free ingredients that are good for baby’s sensitive skin. They have 2 different range of baby wash, one for babies and another for kids. However, there is no clear mention of which age group can use these products.

One interesting thing about their packaging is that they have really cute Disney characters printed on the bottle which kids just love. What I don’t like is they have gender-based collections like Mickey Mouse for boys and Disney princesses for girls. I discontinued using it solely because of this reason.

Mother Sparsh products are plant-based, made up of natural ingredients only so yes these are good for sensitive skin but if the skin is over sensitive then you should once check with the pediatrician too to be safe.
I have used Biotique and Himalaya for my kids and any day can vouch for the best one to be Himalayas. I love how pure and sensitive it is for kids skin
Out of these five, I have use Mother Sparsh, Biotique and Mamaearth. My experience has been good with all of them. Very helpful list Neha, especially for moms who want to use products from companies who have better formulations that some highly known brands.
I have personally used Mamaearth and Biotique and found both to be very good. I will try the others too.

Well I totally agree to the comparison and in fact have used each one of these products but if you ask my verdict I would say mothersparsh and mama Earth when the Crown
Baby’s hair needs extra care and attention due to its delicate nature. Thus, for my munchkin I prefer to use a natural baby shampoo from Maaté which has ingredients chosen from the best source, the nature itself. It nourishes the scalp and keeps the hair soft and healthy.
I haven’t heard of this brand, seems new. But yes, baby’s skin and hair need extra care and one should only choose the natural, toxin-free products for them.
