3 Must Watch Romantic Korean Dramas on Netflix

Best Romantic Korean Dramas

Hello friends, here’s a love month special post for you guys. Today I am sharing about three of my favorite romantic Korean Dramas that I watched last year. I don’t know about you guys, but I am a die-hard romantic. And, I literally see hearts flying around during the month of love. Since there’s so much love all around, I thought of writing about my all-time favorite romantic movies. But then I felt that nowadays, people prefer binge-watching a series over a 2-hour movie. So, it’s better that I write what people like. Here are the three must-watch rom-com K-dramas on Netflix that you should definitely check out.

3 Must Watch Romantic K-Dramas on Netflix

The K-dramas have gained a lot of popularity in the past few years. It was August 2020 when I watched a Korean series on Netflix for the first time. And, Oh man! Did I like it?

That day, I fell in love with Korean drama, and now I never miss a chance to binge-watch a series over the weekend. I am currently watching What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim, a highly recommended rom-com series. So far, it’s looking good.

Now, coming to the 3 of my favorites and must watch romantic Korean dramas on Netflix.

1 – Crash Landing on You

This was the first Korean rom-com series I watched, which made me crave more. It’s a story about a South Korean girl and a North Korean boy who met accidentally and fell in love with each other slowly and steadily. Korean actors are cute, and the stories are even cuter. Since the series is in the Korean language, I had to read the subtitles to understand the dialogues. And, that felt like I was reading an animated book. So, it was not that bad. Later, I got to know that none of the Korean series are available in English. But, that’s also okay with me.

Number of episodes – 16

Cast – Hyun Bin, Son Ye-jin, Kim Jung-hyun, Seo Ji-hye

2 – Guardian: The Lonely and Great God

I liked this series not just because it’s a romantic drama but also because it has a Goblin (immortal cursed God) and a Grim Reaper (one who collects a person’s soul after they die), something I was hearing & seeing for the first time. I would say it has a lot of masala and comedy wrapped around the cute Korean romance. And, I found the men & their chemistry with each other way cuter in this show.

You may also watch – Virgin Bhanupriya on ZEE5!

3 – Legend of the Blue Sea

Again, it’s not any simple story, which I guess is the USP of Korean dramas. It’s a love story of a mermaid and a human, both got killed in their previous life, and they meet again after rebirth. Though they have no memory from their past life, the story runs in parallel, which makes it so interesting that you would not even want to take a break in between the episodes.

Spread the love

I think I am one of the few people on this planet who has not as yet watched any Korean dramas (unless the Oscar-winner Parasite counts!). I think it’s time for me to begin soon.
