The first thing that caught my attention was their packaging, it’s quite different and interesting. The colour of the pack tells you the flavour of the chocolate inside like dark brown is for dark chocolate, green is for coconut milk chocolate, and light brown is for milk chocolate.

If you’ll look closely you will notice that the design on the cover is not just any print but a well-thought idea to highlight the main ingredient (i.e. cacao beans) of their chocolates. I would call it smart branding.

Now, if you are confused about the percentage mentioned on each chocolate then don’t be, and let me explain. The percentage refers to the % of cacao in the chocolate bar. While going through their website I got to know their procedure of chocolate making. And, the most interesting part about the process is that they don’t separate cacao butter from the beans and that explains why their chocolates are so rich and melt in the mouth.

So, you see 72% Dark Chocolate bar has 72% Cacao Beans plus Cacao Butter and 28% Palm Sugar. No hidden ingredients.

I have never liked dark chocolate because they are nothing but bitter. I was quite hesitant to take a bite of BeeTee’s Melt Dark Chocolate and that’s why I asked my husband to try it first. He’s a diabetic with a major sweet tooth, so this bar was anyways meant for him. He took a bite and just closed his eyes, it seemed he moved to a different world at that moment. I should have clicked his picture then.

Anyways, his expressions made me curious enough to try it out myself. And, I must confess this is by far the best dark chocolate I have ever tasted. I guess it’s the right percentage of cacao beans + cacao butter + palm sugar along with the right technique of chocolate making that did the magic.

This is a must-try for those who take their health quite seriously for a guilt-free indulgence.

2 – 54% Coconutmilk Chocolate

And, here comes another hilarious drama-comedy Hindi movie on ZEE5, Virgin Bhanupriya. I feel comedy has turned out to be one of the most loved genres on OTT platforms nowadays. At least, I prefer a light comedy over anything, it just takes away all the stress of the week. We got a chance almost after three weeks to plan a movie night this Saturday since I was a bit occupied with stuff related to my blog’s 3rd birthday. And, luckily this time we could choose a movie without worrying about the U or U/A ratings.

Yes, you guessed it right, we watched a sex comedy, Virgin Bhanupriya since Nemit slept quite early. But there is nothing vulgar in the movie except for some strong language. It’s an A-rated comedy movie with a run time of 1hr 51 mins.

The cast of the movie – Virgin Bhanupriya

Urvashi Rautela (as Bhanupriya/Bhanu), Gautam Gulati (as Abhimanyu/Shartiya), Rumana Molla (as Rukul), Rajiv Gupta (as Bhanu’s father), Archana Puran Singh (as Bhanu’s mother).

All the actors have performed really well but my favorites are Rumana Molla and Rajiv Gupta. I just loved their roles and their acting was fabulous.

Movie Review

The plot is quite interesting revolving around a simple college girl, Bhanu, who just wants to lose her virginity. But it’s not that easy for her since her luck is not playing on her side. Initially, I was doubting selecting this movie to watch since I don’t like watching Indian sex comedies. But this one is not just any brainless and senseless sex comedy movie. The best part about the movie is the Writer-Director, Ajay Lohan’s efforts to touch upon the taboo subjects in a very subtle manner.

Sex is still considered a taboo topic in India; people still feel ashamed to talk about it openly. Yet, in this movie, you would see a conservative girl willing to explore her sexuality. I think the youth will relate to it very well. Bhanu’s best friend Rukul is a totally opposite in character as compared to Bhanu. Though I felt her character is a bit over the top I still loved her, always ready with her ideas to help Bhanu lose her virginity.

The first 40 mins are a laugh riot, at many points, I felt like I would fall down of the couch laughing. The veteran actors Rajiv Gupta and Archana Puran Singh are fabulous as always. Their scenes were quite hilarious, will surely leave viewers asking for more.

Usually, the pace of comedy movies gets slow in the second half which happened with Virgin Bhanupriya too. But the good part is the makers have something interesting to offer to their viewers in the second half. And, that’s the thing which will keep the viewers glued to the screen.

The comedy-drama movie, Virgin Bhanupriya also breaks stereotypes at many levels by not just talking about virginity but also single motherhood.

I was not much into watching TV earlier since I couldn’t stand the weekly drama shows & I prefer watching movies at the theatre. But when the lockdown was announced I was left with no choice. That’s when I switched to the OTT platforms. These provide entertainment content like series and movies without any ad breaks via high-speed internet. And, for the last 3 months, I enjoyed binge-watching different series whenever I had some free time. Every weekend, we plan a movie night and last Saturday we watched ‘Chintu Ka Birthday‘ on ZEE5.

Chintu ka Birthday is a light family drama starring Vinay Pathak, Tillotama Shome (I love her from Mentalhood series), Seema Pahwa, Bisha Chaturvedi, Khalid Massou, Reginald L Barnes, Nathan Scholz and Vedant Chibber (as Chintu).

When I watched the trailer of this movie, I knew we had to watch it. Since it’s a family drama which revolves around a 6-year-old kid’s birthday party. My son loves birthday parties so I thought maybe he could also join us for a movie night this time. He usually sleeps early so just watched it for 15 mins & then slept. But let me tell you it’s not a kid’s movie because of some violent scenes however older kids can watch it under parental guidance. I wish Nemit’s Dadi & Nani were also here and we could enjoy this movie together.

More about the Movie Chintu ka Birthday…

Anyways, coming back to the movie now. I especially liked the unique screenplay and the stellar performances by Vinay Pathak and Tillotama Shome. Even the kids were brilliant when it came to portraying various emotions without uttering many words. Seema Pahwa Ji was as usual amazing in playing the role of Chintu’s Nani.

This movie depicts the strong family bonding, love, kindness, friendship, optimism, happiness & above all, hope! This family just wants to bring a smile on Chintu’s face on his Birthday.  

The movie is about an Indian family, happily living in Iraq until one day when the US troops invaded the country & declared war. From then on, everything changed for this family. Chintu’s father’s work got affected, their chances of going back to India diminished and celebrating Chintu’s birthday became a challenge.

The story is set on the day of Chintu’s 6th birthday when the whole family is trying to make it special for the little boy. But as fate had it, a car blast outside their home resulted in two American soldiers breaking into their house in search of insurgents. They bring chaos with them; terror engulfed the whole family. And, Chintu lost all hopes!

What happens when the soldiers start suspecting Chintu’s father? Is he innocent or really involved in the blast? What will a father do to bring a smile on his family’s face?

My Experience of preserving photo memories with Photojaanic

I was asked to choose a wall photo frame from their collection which was exactly what I wanted as I am a big fan of wall decor using photo frames. And this way I got a chance to preserve a few of my best photo memories with Photojaanic.
