How Blogging can make you Happy? ‘Growing With Nemit’ Blog turns 3 !!!

Blogging can make you Happy.

Hello everyone! I hope you all are staying safe. Today, I want to share my reasons for ‘how blogging can make you happy’ if you are passionate about it. I don’t often write about blogging even though I get as many queries related to blogging as for parenting and travel. The only reason is I don’t feel that I am yet ready to write elaborate posts on how to start a blog or how to earn money from your blog. This month I am celebrating my blog’s 3rd birthday (accepting wishes this whole month), but I still feel naive in this field. Three years is a long journey, but there’s still a long way to go and a lot to experiment and learn.

Now, if you are wondering if I don’t want to write about blogging, then why did I even choose this topic? Well, I may not be an expert, but I can definitely tell you one thing that, blogging can make you Happy!

So, this post is for people who have just started their blogs or are thinking of starting one soon. Or, those who are stuck right now in their blogging journey. And don’t know if they should move forward or call it a quit.

There will come many times in your initial journey when you will feel lost; when you would want to rethink your decision to continue this journey; when you think that maybe you are not good enough.

Well, if you are at this point in your journey, believe me, something good is about to happen soon. How can I be so sure? Because I have been in this phase too and not just once. So, trust me!

Now, what you have to do is unlearn whatever you have been doing and start experimenting. This phase is a cue for you to come out of your comfort zone. Are you willing to do that? Are you ready to take risks?

If your answer is yes, then, my friend, no one can stop you from experiencing the happiness that blogging can bring into your life. I know your answer would be yes if you are really passionate about writing or sharing your thoughts and ideas with people or help others with your experiences.

I don't often write about blogging even though I get as many queries as I get for parenting. But, I can tell you one thing that Blogging can make you Happy!

Here, I am sharing 5 reasons how blogging can make you happy.

1 – If you love sharing your thoughts and ideas with other people then Blogging is made for you

If you are someone who always has some views and thoughts to share on a topic. Then blogging is one platform that can make you really happy. Your blog can help you discover your voice. And also to reach a larger audience to share your ideas. If you are passionate about what you are writing, then happiness is all yours.

2 – If you love helping others then also blogging can make you happy

If you are enthusiastic about helping others with your experiences, then you should never think of quitting blogging. Because it can provide you a perfect platform to share your knowledge, which can be helpful to others. When your post helps someone and they reach out to you to say thanks, it is a divine feeling.

3 – It helps you to be financially independent

Yes, blogging is not just a hobby or a daily journal. It is your personal space that you can use professionally to earn money. I did my first collaboration with a brand just 3 months after starting my blog. And in the next month, I did 3 paid collaborations. Can you believe it?

If I can do it, you can do it too!

4 – Blogging can make you happy by letting you explore your creative side

Most people think that blogging is just about writing blog posts, and after a while, it may become dull or monotonous. Well, let me clear your doubts. Blogging is more than just writing blogs! It involves writing as well as marketing. It also lets you explore your creativity, like when you create PIN images for your post.

You can explore social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and link these back to your blog. There’s never a dull moment when you are into blogging. If you are not writing a post, you may be working on a video script or planning on how to promote your latest post.

5 – It is your safe space, your happy place

One of the best things about blogging is that you get your safe space, which gives such a happy feeling. Your blog is your personal space, and you get the freedom to experiment. You are free to do whatever you want; you can choose whichever topic you want to write. And, you can decide when to post and when to take a break.

Blogging is one job that is exciting and fun, and it makes you feel like a Boss. Can there be anything happier than this? I doubt.

Well, these are my 5 reasons to convince you to stick to blogging when you have hit a rough patch in your journey. I am sure your passion will help you overcome all the hurdles. And I hope now you can also say that blogging can make you happy!

I don't often write about blogging even though I get as many queries as I get for parenting. But, I can tell you one thing that Blogging can make you Happy!

Blogging helps me in finding myself. I can pour my thoughts, opinions through words more easily than I can speak.

Same here, Ujjwal. I am more comfortable at writing my thoughts rather than speaking them out.

I do think, it helps when I write down an experience, when I share a few parenting struggles. To know that I am not the only one and that this problem is more like a common parenting challenge really helps. I loved reading your thoughts, glad we connect so well

I agree, Mandavi, when I share my experience and people respond saying that they can relate to it, then I feel I’m not alone. Sometimes, I get my answers to several doubts too. Glad to know you liked my thoughts, Thank you.

If blogging would not have happened in my life, I would have slipped into depression. So I know how blogging made my life joyful and helped me come out of a phase wherein I felt extremely lonely. Blogging gave me an opportunity to connect with people. I am an introvert and can never initiate a conversation and that made it difficult for me to adjust in a new city. I am more confident in sharing my thoughts where I know I won’t be judged, blogging helped me open up and I found numerous friends here.
So I agree with you and strongly recommend people who are introverts to start writing a blog.

    • Neha Sharma July 10, 2020 at 12:11 am - Reply

Thank you for sharing this. Even I am an introvert and I feel so safe and happy when I blog. And I agree, introverts should definitely have a blog.
