Wow you have explained all this in such a detailed manner. Even we have a German shepherd at home and now he is 5, but when he was a kid we had to train him well so that he doesnt bite and chew on things and people.

wow..Neha. How nicely you have explained everything. before, I read the concluding paragraph, I had the same thoughts that this is exactly how we teach a toddler. Get down to their level, maintain eye contact and gain their attention first then start to explain them what is expected from them. No wonder, we call them member of our family. As any other member, they also need undivided attention, care and warmth.
