I am always in favour of teaching early the concept of money management to kids. My mom used to be very angry on me as I was since childhood keen to save money and do something good . But I dont know why my mom used to say that I am “Bisayi” a Bengali term that means money minded. I used to buy story books from my saved money which I used to earn as reward for doing some work or received as gift from someone. I believe that nature of mine actually helped me to survive during a critical phase of life and so I will teach my son money management early.
